This piece represents the overconsumption of media and how many lives now revolve around screens. The isolated atmosphere indicates this addiction- of disconnecting from our external surroundings.
The red slash across the person’s eyes represents a lack of identity. I used blue undertones to reflect the blue screens of devices which also has cold and sad connotations, further emphasising the empty atmosphere. The red glow from the one-point perspective creates an evil perception of the ‘like’ button which has become so integral in modern life.
